Home sites and investment property are
now available for sale at "The Narrows at
Lahontan." The subdivision consists of
five hundred and twenty acres "off the
grid" at Lake Lahontan, Nevada. The
roads are in, the pads are cut, the views
are grand.
There are nine property parcels, each
consisting of one forty acre home site
which can be divided into two twenty acre
sites. There is also one eighty acre home
over use of Reno’s airport, the state of Nevada is pushing
legislation and funding for this fledgling airport to support some
of the overflow traffic from Reno.
The largest business park in the world is just outside of the
Reno/Sparks area, another important factor opening up
opportunity for the Lake Lahontan area. Government and private
interests are working to cut a road from Reno to Silver Springs.
This will bring thousands of highly skilled and well paid workers
to the area, and also cut the commute time nearly in half from
Reno to the lake.
"Live the Narrows" is my project and I am proud of it. Five years
I passionately worked, creating this wonderful environment for
home sites, a perfect place "off the grid" for a get away, or an
investment. To enjoy, appreciate, and understand this project,
you have to both see it and experience it! If you are looking for a
home "where the wild horses roam," this is it!
I look forward to hearing from you, and hopefully, to showing you around!

site that can be divided into two forty or four twenty acre parcels. Although all the home sites have views
of Lake Lahontan and the Sierras, the four home sites on the lake are very rare because of their easy
access and proximity to the lake. Views must be seen to be appreciated. All home sites share two
beach accesses. The lake, the surrounding government land and the project make for a perfect
recreational Mecca and a wonderful private get away. The lake is quite beautiful with 68 miles of sandy
beaches and mature cottonwoods. (It is a reservoir for Fallon and Fernley, created by damming the
Carson River.)
Because the land was subdivided before the lake was formed, the property surrounding the lake is mostly owned and
controlled by government. These thousands of acres that are not, and will not be developed, make the private properties
here limited and therefore more valuable. This is an unique investment opportunity to own part of the Wild, Wild West.
Lake Lahontan is in the center of Northern Nevada’s booming population. Reno, Lake Tahoe, Carson City, Fernley, Fallon,
and Silver Springs, are all close to an hours drive from Lake Lahontan. Silver Springs, the gateway to the lake, has been
undergoing a unique growth spurt. It has the second longest airport runway in the state. Because of population growth and
